Pros: Lightweight and Portable, Durable, Smooth, Fast
Cons: Difficult to ride when wet, Sometimes foot slips forward

If you are looking for a lightweight, durable and smooth skateboard then Penny Nickel Skateboard can be a good choice. It falls in the category of mini board, but is slightly longer than most other mini boards and provides more comfortable room for your feet that gives you more control over your board while riding and enhances your cruising experience. It comes in plastic, but the quality of the material is excellent that will last longer than ordinary plastic boards, so you don’t have to worry about its durability. In terms of speed this retro designed board zips very fast on the roads with stability and smoothness. I have seen very few skateboards riding at such speed without wobbling. For those who love doing tricks on the board, I have good news for them; Penny Nickel Skateboard has also come out as an excellent tricks board. In downhill racing too this board is also not in arrears and has carved hills like high end professional carving skateboards.

If you are a beginner and have not ridden any board previously then this skateboard would be ideal for you, it will be very comfortable and productive and will help you in learning the basics of longboarding. Whether your purpose is to cruise around city streets, riding to the college or just sailing from point A to point B, it will fulfill all your purposes and will be very fruitful for your daily resolutions.

Technical Data

The deck of this skateboard is made of superior quality injection molded plastic which makes it very flexible and at the same time gives rock solid durability. Its length is 27 inches, so it is quite longer than Penny Complete and provides an advantage to taller skaters also. Its width is 6 inches which is just fine for this length board. The boards are available in lovely vibrant colors like pink, red, blue, green, purple etc. and would be liked by the kids and young people. The wheels supplied with it are 59mm/79a Penny wheels which are very soft and provide good performance while cruising. The two supplied trucks are 3.125 inches Penny Cruiser rugged aluminum make and are very solid and durable. The bearings are ABEC 7 rating with soft 90a bushings.

With all these high quality and superior board and components material this board is well accepted by kids, adults, beginners and professionals. In terms of price it is little expensive, if you fell like buying any cheap and ordinary board, you will get inferior quality components with only a little difference in the amount than a superior quality product, but in the long run you will be at disadvantage. Indeed when there is only slight difference in the price value it is always worth to buy a superior quality product.

Conclusion

I like Penny Skateboards, but this one is my personal choice, it has all the good qualities that a professional skateboard has. Its biggest advantage is that is very lightweight and portable and thus is easily transportable and fits your backpack conveniently. I consider it both for beginners and for somewhat skilled skaters. You will feel thankful to its manufacturer and it will prove itself to be your friend forever.

Personal Quotes

Learning skateboarding is not an easy task and could be a challenge on any type of longboard or skateboard, but the more you practice, the more you become comfortable with it and gradually become an expert. For some people learning to ride a skateboard is tougher than a longboard, however the fact is that when you are new with any sport it feels like a huge mountain that is difficult to climb, but nothing is impossible for people who love challenges, as once my mom said that God has made us superior beings and nothing can stop achieving our dreams, a very well lesson learnt, today I love this sport very much and have participated in a lot of countries, I am and will continue to face the challenges of my life.
